The Dell Recovery media set (Dell does not send OS media) includes the Installation, Drivers and recovery DVDs and would actually install back to "factory settings" unless you have other add-on parts that need to use drivers from the drivers media. If you do not like the Dell system utility, just uninstall it or hide it from the toolbar.10 second job. Keep in mind I am swapping out the HDD with my preferred SSD so my options are: Imaging the OEM install (not as clean and tend to be not as reliable as I like), clean install using the dell OS Install media, or clean install using the Microsoft Media Builder USB key. With Windows 10 I have just used the Microsoft Media Builder (Bootable USB), and that has worked just fine for me with Windows Pro, not so much with Windows Pro for Workstations. Unfortunately I didnt receive the OS install disk with any of these systems. The Dell OS Install media doesnt install the extra utilities, just the wallpaper and logos here and there, and Im fine with that. I don't particularly care for the Dell utilities. I deploy a lot of workstations and, call me crazy, but the systems that are running an OEM install definitely tend to have more random issues than the ones with a squeaky clean and fresh build of windows installed right off the bat.
